To provide expertise for configuration, management and troubleshooting Security Infrastructure components like Network Firewalls/ IDS/ IPS/DDOS etc. Maintaining Service Level Agreement (SLA) or OLA (Operational Level Agreement) of highest standards and Turn-Around Time (TAT) as agreed Technical Skills Strong knowledge of data center network technologies, including: ACI, Nexus Switches, Firewall and Load balancers Basic knowledge and experience in configuring & troubleshooting of Security devices (Firewalls/ IDS/ IPS), Load balancers and Web application firewalls. Configuration of routing & switching protocols like BGP, OSPF, STP, RSTP, etc. and troubleshooting of the same Integration with Infrastructure Components like Active Directory (AD)/ LDAP/ AAA/ Radius, NTP, Domain Name Service (DNS), Logging Servers, etc. Expert level knowledge of IP addressing schemes (IPv4 & IPv6) Advanced Level of configurations for high availability like Active-Passive or Active-Active Cluster setup, etc. applicable for Disaster Recovery scenarios with pre-defined RTO & RPO. Should have worked in Remote Management environment using tools. The Key Responsibilities Are Highlighted Below. The candidate is o Monitor and maintain network health, availability, and performance using NMS tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, or Nagios. o Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers. o Enforce security policies within the data center network, including firewall rules, VPN tunnels, and access controls. o Perform regular firmware updates, patches, and software upgrades on network devices. o Maintain updated network diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configuration documents. o Assist in managing data center network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls. Execute new deployments, migrations, and capacity expansions across data centers. o Primary responsibility would be to recover the network from any outage and ensure timely performance management activities are being carried out. o Expected to coordinate for repairs, replacements, patches or upgrades of hardware/ software with third party vendors / OEMs and business partner in order to minimize impact to SLA by following Material Management & Movement processes (if required). o Expected to assist in troubleshooting connectivity failures which impact services like Monitoring, Backup, etc. Expected to provide inputs for Shift-wise/ Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly reporting requirements in addition to the Asset Management record updation/ modification requirements. Requirements Should have technical OEM certifications for Network & Security products or technologies (Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, WAN Accelerators, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN Gateways, etc.) Knowledge or experience of using Enterprise Service Management tools for automated testing, Monitoring (for OS, Network, Applications, etc.), Event correlation engines, Service desk (ITIL compliance, workflow and Self Service), etc. Exposure to technologies like Cisco ACI, FTD firewalls, load balancers Demonstrated problem solving skills, strong conceptual and analytical skills along-with ability to work as an effective team member. Effective written and verbal communication for team collaboration and Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
